Indianapolis - Alex Young scored a game-high 27 points, shooting 10 for 17 from the field, as IUPUI came from behind to beat South Dakota State 81-76 on Saturday.
The Jaguars (11-9, 5-2 Summit) trailed most of the game but tied it with about three minutes left on Young's three-point play. They went ahead for good 30 seconds later when Young nailed a jumper.
Leroy Nobles helped out with 21 points and Christian Siakam scored 12 for the Jaguars.
The Jackrabbits (12-6, 4-3) led by as many as 14 points late in the first half, but IUPUI began to chip away before the break and kept it up after.
Nate Wolters led South Dakota State with 24 points. Clint Sargent made a game-high five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points while Jordan Dykstra scored 12 points for the Jackrabbits.
