Indianapolis - One person was shot at a north side pawn shop Tuesday morning.

It happened at 5347 North Keystone Ave. at around 10:40 am.

Police say two people went inside the business with guns and demanded money. According to officers, one suspect grabbed an employee and held a gun to his head while walking him behind the counter. The other suspect walked through the store.

Several workers were inside the pawn shop at the time of the robbery attempt. One employee tried to run outside, but as he exited, one of the suspects fired a shot, hitting him in the buttocks.

The suspects ran out of the business heading eastbound, without taking any money or products.

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
