Super Bowl 2012 banner removed from Lucas Oil Stadium

Posted: Updated:

Indianapolis - The Super Bowl 2012 banner at Lucas Oil Stadium is "coming down due to unforeseen stress on windows there." That's according to the Super Bowl 2012 committee.

It's believed that one of the windows that the banner was hanging on may have cracked. At this point it isn't clear if the banner caused the damage, but the banner is coming down so it can be checked.

This story will be updated.
