Indianapolis - Members of the Fraternal Order of Police have voted to pay legal fees for an officer facing charges in a fatal accident.

The FOP in Indianapolis voted to pay the fees for IMPD Officer David Bisard, who is awaiting trial on criminal charges for the August 6 crash that killed motorcycle rider Eric Wells and injured two other bikers on E. 56th Street.

Officer Bisard is currently suspended without pay from IMPD.
