Lebanon man arrested on 13 molestation counts

LEBANON - Police arrested a Lebanon man Thursday afternoon on multiple felonies following a several-month child molesting investigation.

Police say Jeffery Lauer, 47, was arrested at his home at 1:00 p.m. on a warrant from Boone Superior Court I by Lebanon Detective Dave Scott.

According to Scott, the Indiana Department of Child Services notified Lebanon police about allegations involving Lauer and two girls between the ages of 13 and 15. 

After an investigation that police say took several months, officers from the Lebanon Police Department and Boone County Sheriff's Office took Lauer into custody.

Police say they also spoke to a woman at his house, but she was questioned and released.

Lauer is charged with:

- 4 counts of Child Molesting as a Class A Felony
- 2 counts of Child Molesting as a Class C Felony
- 4 counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor as a Class B Felony
- 2 counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor as a Class C Felony 
- One count of Sexual Battery as a Class D Felony

Lauer was jailed in Boone County on a $100,000.00 bond.
