Buffalo, N.Y. - Keith Wenning threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Otis Brown, and Sean Baker returned a fumble 26 yards for a score to help Ball State beat Buffalo 20-3 on Friday night for its second straight victory following a four-game losing streak.
Ian McGarvey kicked 40- and 32-yard field goals for the Cardinals (4-7, 3-4 Mid-American Conference).
Wenning was 18 of 26 for 174 yards, and Eric Williams ran for 109 yards on 27 carries.
A.J. Principe made a 49-yard field goal for Buffalo (2-8, 1-5). The Bulls have lost five straight.
