Bisard crash report to be released Wednesday

Updated:

Indianapolis - We are about to learn more about the crash involving an Indianapolis Metro Police officer which killed a biker three months ago.

The Public Safety Director's office says a report will be released mid-week about what happened the day Officer David Bisard ran into three motorcyclists. Eric Wells was killed, and Mary Mills and Kurt Weekly suffered life-changing injuries in the Aug. 6th crash.

Bisard's blood-alcohol level measured .19, more than twice the legal limit, but DUI charges were dropped because the blood sample was drawn improperly.

Public Safety Director Frank Straub will release information from the internal investigation.
