Indianapolis - Two people had minor injuries in an apartment fire on the city's east side Monday morning.
It happened in the 2800 block of Black Knight Boulevard. That's near 30th and Post Road.
Smoke was showing from the apartment when fire crews arrived. One person was trapped but has been rescued.
The victims were checked for smoke inhalation. Neither was transported to the hospital.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly. They believe the fire started in a kitchen, and they're calling it accidental.
