Mayor Kris Ockomon (D)Talk show host Dr. Phil wants to help put an end to the Anderson mayor flap.
According to the Anderson Herald-Bulletin, producers invited Mayor Kris Ockomon to be on the show, along with former Mayor Kevin Smith.
The new and old mayors are in a battle over who should lead the city. Former Mayor Smith says Ockomon shouldn't be mayor because he claims Ockomon didn't live at an Anderson address a year before he ran for office.
Both Ockomon and Smith declined the Dr. Phil Show, saying it would be unprofessional to take their dispute to the national airwaves.
