Police say the victim was leaving his house and got in his Dodge Ram. That's when someone approached him, shooting him several times in the face, throat and neck.

The shooting victim was taken to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.

Police were only able to give a vague description of the suspect. They are looking for a black male in his twenties or thirties with heavy facial hair. He was wearing all black clothing and a hoodie.

The suspect got away with the victim's Dodge Ram, which is described as Colts blue. Police are looking for the vehicle, which is a 1500 quad cab with Indiana license truck plate 1192545.
