Indianapolis - Several events are kicking off Thursday and Friday to help feed Indiana's hungry.
Gleaners Food Bank holds its annual open house Thursday. You're invited to drop off holiday donations and take a tour to learn how those donations are put to use.
Kroger made one of the first donations in the form of 200 frozen turkeys.
The open house takes place until 6:00 pm at Gleaners' warehouse on 16th Street east of College Avenue.
Friday night, local musicians will rock the house with covers of Led Zeppelin and Bob Dylan for the eighth annual Tonic Ball. Tickets are $20 and proceeds go to Second Helpings. This event takes place at Radio Radio and Fountain Square Theatre - you only pay once and can come and go as you please, but Radio Radio fills up quickly so you could be waiting in line. The event starts at 7:00 pm on Friday, Nov. 20th.
Tonic Ball is preceded by the Tonic Gallery, which features works by more than 50 of the city's most renowned visual artists-all for sale and available for as little as $100. Check out the Tonic Gallery at AV Framing Gallery, Fountain Square, 1139 Shelby St., 5:00 to 9:00 pm on November 20th.
