Indianapolis - Five Ukrainian judges will visit Indianapolis and Noblesville this month to learn about the U.S. judicial system.
The judges will attend arguments at the Indiana Supreme Court and view court proceedings in Marion and Hamilton counties as part of their visit Nov. 14-21.
Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathryn Dolan says the visit is part of the Open World program, a congressional initiative. The program exposes foreign visitors to practices they can adapt for use in their own countries.
The state has hosted Ukrainian judges on four previous visits.
