Indianapolis - Federal, state and county offices will be closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day. City offices are open.

License branches and post offices will also be closed and there will be no home mail delivery. Indianapolis city offices and schools, however, will remain open.

Also operating on Monday will be IndyGo, with buses following a regular schedule, the Indianapolis-Marion County Libraries and trash pickup in Indianapolis, Beech Grove and Speedway. There will be no trash pickup in Lawrence on Monday, where Monday routes will be picked up Tuesday and normal service resuming for the rest of the week.

Most banks will be closed, but the stock markets will be open.
