Woman hurt in crash that closes I-70 on east side
A woman suffered a laceration on her arm and other injuries after getting stuck under a semi while driving on Interstate 70 Thursday evening.
State police say the woman was driving west on I-70 when she lost control for unknown reasons. Witnesses told investigators the woman's car "fishtailed three or four times" and ran under the trailer of a westbound semi.
The driver of the semi told police he may have dragged the car as much as two-tenths of a mile.
The woman was cut on the arm and sustained other non-life threatening injuries. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The westbound lanes of the interstate were closed for about an hour while police cleaned up the crash scene.
