Woman fatally injured in fall from delivery truck

Police say a woman died Monday when she fell from the passenger seat of a delivery truck.

State police say Debra Harris, 54, of Velpen, was riding in the right front seat of a FedEx Ground truck making deliveries. The truck's driver was negotiating a curve on Leopold Road east of Lavender Road in Perry County when Harris fell out of the truck.

Police say Harris was not wearing a seat belt.

Harris was transported by air ambulance Perry County Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.
