Woman arrested after Indianapolis northwest side chase
A woman was arrested after police say she fled from a traffic stop and led police on a 70-mph chase on the Indianapolis northwest side.
It started near 56th and Guion Road when an Indianapolis Metro Police officer pulled the woman over for a traffic violation. The officer discovered that a warrant was out for the woman's arrest.
The officer asked the woman to get out of the car. Instead, she hit the gas, leading police on a five-minute chase.
The chase ended at Fox Hill Drive and Michigan Road, where the woman still refused to get out of the car. Officers removed her from the car and arrested her.
She has not been identified.
