INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis only has 1.15" in the rain gauge this month, and that ties 1954 for the 7th driest June on record.
The driest was in 2012 when less than a tenth of an inch of rain fell.
We are starting to see the dry and moderate drought conditions expand in the latest drought monitor. The first is the latest map, and the second is the map from last week to show the difference.
Right now, we only have one rain chance in the 7 day forecast and that is on Sunday.
