INDIANAPOLIS — There will be a few flurries flying through late this evening and it will be cold and windy. Overnight temperatures fall into the upper teens and lower 20s, with clearing skies. This does set us up for some sunshine on Friday, but it will be a cold day with highs only in the middle 30s.
Grab the heavy coat, gloves and a hat if you are coming back downtown for circle of lights or the Pacers game Friday night. If you can't make it downtown, you can watch it on channel 13 at 7pm.
High temperatures are forecast back into the middle 40s on Saturday. A fast moving weather system will bring a few rain and snow showers to central Indiana Saturday afternoon and Saturday night.
If you are going to the Old Oaken Bucket game on Saturday, you will need the heavy coat. We will end the long holiday weekend with highs near 40 on Sunday. It will be a breezy and cold day, with highs near 40.
Looking ahead to next week, we don't see any major weather system but we do see some milder air arriving Tuesday through Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 40s on Tuesday and in the 50s on Wednesday and Thursday.
