Warmer Monday, active pattern arrives rest of week

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday was Winter-like, with temperatures only climbing to 38 degrees. Today was much more Spring-like, with highs climbing into the mid 50s.

The wind will begin to turn out of the south this evening and temperatures will fall into the upper 30s Monday morning, near normal for this time of year.

Monday is my pick of the week, with sunny skies and temperatures will soar into the mid to upper 60s.

Clouds will increase Monday night as a cold front arrives. There is a chance of rain late Monday night through Tuesday morning.

Cooler air arrives behind the cold front on Tuesday but it will still be pleasant with partly sunny skies by afternoon and temperature will rise to near normal with a high in the upper 50s.

An active weather pattern takes over mid week. Rain will be possible on Wednesday and it will become likely by Wednesday night. If you are going to the Pacer game Wednesday night against Detroit, Channel 13 will be giving away free ponchos to the first 3000 fans. You may need that poncho, especially on your way out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse!

More rain is likely on Thursday, with a few thunderstorms possible.

A dry and quiet pattern pushes in on Friday afternoon and will continue through the weekend.
