Warm and muggy night ahead with possible return for rain
It will be a warm and muggy Monday night, with low temperatures only forecast to drop into the range of 65-70 degrees. There will be a few showers and storms possible too. A few showers and storms are in the Tuesday forecast, with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Cooler air will start to arrive across northwestern Indiana on Tuesday. We will all feel the drop in temperature by Wednesday.
Highs Wednesday through Friday will only be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. These numbers are about 15 degrees cooler than average. Rain chances stay in the forecast, along with the cooler air through Friday.
