Walsh Jennings, Ross win World Series

Top-seeded Americans Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross won the World Series of Beach Volleyball on Sunday, beating fifth-seeded Agatha Bednarczuk and Barbara Seixas of Brazil 21-17, 21-17.

The victory was Walsh Jennings' 50th on the FIVB World Tour. Walsh Jennings and Ross have won seven titles in 11 events together.

The top-seeded American team of Sean Rosenthal and Phil Dalhausser won the men's title, beating second-seeded Mariusz Prudel and Grzegorz Fjalek of Poland 22-24, 21-17, 15-9.

The winning teams each earned $70,000.
