Vaughn helps Mystics beat Fever 74-61

Kia Vaughn scored 22 points and Ivory Latta added 14 to help the Washington Mystics beat the Indiana Fever 74-61 on Friday night.

The Mystics (15-15) increased their hold on the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

Washington led by two after one and eight at the half. The Mystics put the game away expanding their lead to as many as 26 in the second half.

Tamika Catchings had 11 points to lead Indiana (13-17), which is in the hunt for one of the final playoff spots.
