A University of Southern Indiana student who overcame homelessness to get a higher education hopes to inspire others.

Aaron Pugh's parents lost their business in the recession, pushing him into homelessness. Now, he's running from Monument Circle to Millennium Park in Chicago - a 210 mile trip.

"What I hope to get out of it and what I hope people take away from it - it doesn't matter what kind of situation you are in life; if you have dreams, you know pursue your dreams," Pugh said.

Pugh calls the event "Inspire 200."

He plans to reach Chicago by Saturday.
