UPDATE: Police find woman reported missing from south side

An Indianapolis woman missing since Friday was found safe Sunday.

IMPD officers found 23-year-old Mary Beth Fox near the 4500 block of West Bluff Road around midnight. She had last been seen near the Dollar General in the 3600 block of S. East Street around 6:20 Friday night.

Authorities were concerned because she has the mental capacity of an 8-year-old and it was reported that Fox tends to have angry outbursts.



Metro police are asking for the public's help as they look for a missing woman.

Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of South East St. around 8:15 p.m. Friday on the report of a missing person. Mary Beth Fox, a 23-year-old white female, was reported missing from the area around the Dollar General store on South East St. She was last seen around 6:20 p.m.

Fox stands 5'10", weighs 220 pounds and has dark brown, short spiked hair. She was wearing a dark denim jacket, blue jeans and was barefoot.

Police were told Fox has the mental capacity of an eight-year-old and tends to have angry outbursts.

Anyone who locates Fox is urged to call 911 immediately.
