Two women were shot after a disturbance on the east side of Indianapolis Monday night.

Officers responding to the reported disturbance in the 2000 block of Glenridge Drive around 10:30 p.m. found the women suffering from gunshot wounds. The women were able to give police descriptions of the suspects before being transported to Wishard Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Multiple witnesses told police the alleged shooter was seen entering a vacant home, but that proved to be false information.

No suspects have been identified at this time and police say no other injuries were reported.

If anyone has information about the ongoing investigation, they are being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
