Two suspects sought in armed Family Dollar robbery


Detectives are searching for two suspects in an armed robbery Tuesday night.

Two men entered the Family Dollar store in the 3600 block of North High School Road around 9 p.m. Tuesday, armed with handguns and robbed the store. During the robbery, security camera video shows one of the men grabbing an employee by his neck and pushing him toward the suspect. Meanwhile, the other suspect is believed to have held a customer and her son at gunpoint.

Both suspects were described as black males, standing around six feet tall, wearing black jeans, black hoodies and blue gloves. They got away with money from the store and money and personal property from customers in the store.
