Two Perry Township schools dismissed early due to water main break
Students at Perry 6th Grade Academy and Perry Meridian Middle School were dismissed at 9:00 a.m. Thursday due to a water main break.
The water company is on site and estimates that the repair could take up to four hours.
Citizens Energy Group is currently working to repair the 12" water main that broke in front of Perry Meridian Middle School. Aging infrastructure, combined with cold temperatures caused the break.
