Two injured in Indianapolis north side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS - Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to 910 Fairfield Ave. just after 2:00 pm Friday. That's south of 38th Street between College and Winthrop not far from the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
The victims, both black men in their late twenties or early thirties, were found inside the home. One man was shot in the arm and the buttocks. The other man was shot multiple times in the abdomen.
Both were transported to Wishard Hospital in serious condition.
Detectives and crime lab responded to the scene gathering statements and collecting evidence. No suspect information is currently available and the names of the victims will be released at a later time.
