A home suffered heavy damage and a neighboring residence had minor siding damage after a fire in Fishers on Tuesday afternoon.

The Fishers Fire Department was called to the fire scene in the 11800 block of Pine Meadow Circle in Meadow Brook Village, just northwest of 116th St. and Brooks School Rd., a little before 4:00 pm.

Deanna Matthews with Fishers Fire Department says crews observed smoke and flames showing upon arrival. Fire eventually broke through the roof, causing extensive damage.

Firefighters launched an aggressive interior attack on the fire, which extended to the second story roof line from the garage. They eventually had to get out of the home when structural beams started to collapse.

Once firefighters got control of the fire from the exterior, crews went inside to put it out.

The home had around $80,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.

No reports regarding working smoke detectors or a possible cause of fire are available.
