HAMILTON COUNTY - A man and woman were killed Friday when their motorcycle struck a box truck. The victims, Robert and Janna Warren, both 53 of Fishers, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police tell Eyewitness News that the motorcycle was westbound on 146th behind an SUV in the passing lane.

As the two vehicles approached Gray Road, the light turned yellow. A box truck that was traveling eastbound on 146th was waiting to turn left or north onto Gray Road and started its turn. The motorcycle was traveling too fast to stop behind the SUV and changed lanes into the driving lane, striking the box truck in the passenger's side. No one in the box truck was injured.

Police shut down westbound 146th Street at Gray Road while they investigated the crash. Eastbound traffic on 146th was being diverted at Carey Road. Westbound traffic was diverting at Hazel Dell Parkway.

Police say neither of the victims were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. traffic - Cameras, maps and real-time incidents
