Two arrested, one at large after north side armed robbery

Metro Police say they have two suspects in custody and are searching for a third after an overnight armed robbery in a northside apartment complex.

Police say residents answered a knock at the their apartment door in the 8300 block of Plaza Drive in the Carlton Apartments off Township Line Road around 12:15 a.m.  Three young black males barged in, with two showing guns.

They took approximately $60 in cash and cell phones, then left on foot.

Police responding saw one of the men running across Township Line Road into the Spyglass Apartments.  Soon, two of the three were in custody.

A K9 search for the third suspect was called off.

Police say the residents were not harmed.

This is the second robbery in four days at the Carlton complex.  Friday, a man was held up in the parking lot and forced to drive to an ATM to try to withdraw cash for the suspect.
