A traffic warning before the first morning commute since part of US-31 was shut down in Carmel.

Construction crews shut down the highway between Old Meridian and 136th Street Friday night. That closure will last for at least six months, through November.

Although traffic delays weren't bad Sunday, Monday will be the real test with many more cars on the road. Back-ups are expected as drivers try to navigate their new routes.
