Timing rain chances tonight and more 70s this weekend
For the first time in 6 months, temperatures made it into the 70s for much of central Indiana.
A weather system arrives this evening bringing showers and a few thundershowers. We are timing the rain from about 7pm through 2am. The rain will end by early Friday morning for most of the area, but a lingering shower south is possible.
The rest of Friday will be dry, with highs in the 60s.
The weekend forecast is warm, with highs in the 70s on Saturday and Sunday. Most of the weekend will be dry too. We are tracking a developing storm system for the end of the weekend and early next week. That next system will bring more rain and storms on Monday followed by cooler air through the middle part of next week.
