Three wounded in north Indianapolis shooting
Three people have been shot and wounded on the near north side.
Police say a male victim suffered serious wounds in the shooting around 7:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Broadway Street. He was reportedly shot in the abdomen and the leg and is said to be in critical condition.
The other victims, both female, are reportedly in good condition.
Detectives are looking for one suspect in the shooting and believe the victims knew the assailant. Police say three small children were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but were not hurt.
The shooting happened just about an hour after a man was found injured by gunshots in a parking lot on Lafayette Road. Another shooting victim later walked into Wishard Hospital with an arm wound. That victim told police he was shot on Kenwood Avenue.
