Three wounded in east Indianapolis shooting
Two teenagers were transported to the hospital after a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday evening. A third man, who police say was 28 years old, also went to the hospital from the same shooting.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. near E. 29th Street and North Dearborn Street, just south of Washington Park.
Police say the male victims, ages 18 and 19, were both awake and alert when they were taken to Eskenazi Hospital. The third man was dropped off at Community Health Hospital East, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
All three victims are listed in stable condition.
Two homes also reportedly sustained damage from gunshots in the area of the shooting.
