Three people die in house fire
Indianapolis Fire officials confirm that three people have died in a house fire on the northeast side.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene of 6373 Allisonville Road at 4:46 a.m. on a report of a house fire with people trapped inside.
The Indianapolis Fire Department says two men and one woman were killed.
They say the two men were pulled from the house, but died at the scene of the fire. The woman was rushed to Wishard Hospital where she later died.
Officials say there were four people home at the time of the fire. One person did escape.
They are unsure how the residents of the home were related.
Officials say it is too early to say what might have caused the fire.
Chopper 13 was on the scene shortly after fire crews arrived.
