Third former Carmel HS student to plead guilty
Hamilton County - One of four young men charged in the Carmel High School locker room assaults earlier this year will have a change of plea hearing next week, Eyewitness News has learned.
Robert Kitzinger, 19, is scheduled for court on Dec. 20th at 3:30 pm. Kitzinger plans to plead guilty.
Kitzinger was originally scheduled for a change of venue hearing Friday.
Kitzinger is the third of four players originally charged in the assaults to agree to plead guilty.
Thursday, Oscar Falodun, 19, pleaded guilty Thursday in a deal that got him one year of probation and community service.
Scott Laskowski, 20, pleaded guilty last month and received one year of probation and 40 hours of community service for assaults on younger students in the locker room.
Falodun admitted his role before a judge pleading guilty, saying only that he was sorry. For that, he got the same sentence as Laskowski: probation and community service.
Kitzinger and Brandon Hoge are also expected to face related misdemeanor charges in Hendricks County for assaults on a team bus.
