'The Fault In Our Stars' debuts Thursday night in Indianapolis

A movie based on a bestselling novel by an Indianapolis author premieres in our city Thursday night.

"The Fault In Our Stars" is about two teenagers who fall in love at a cancer support group in Indianapolis. The movie, based on a book by Indianapolis resident John Green, was shot in Pennsylvania and is receiving plenty of publicity.

"It's an honest love story that's sad at points, but also quite hopeful," Green said at the movie's New York City premiere. "I think people have resonated with that for a long time."

The film stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort. The premiere will screen at the Landmark Theatre at Keystone at the Crossing at 9 p.m.

Green has lived in Indianapolis since 2007.
