Temps in 70s today with showers possible later

Chuck Lofton

Interesting day in Indiana today with fog this morning in many parts of the area but temperatures still cooler than they should be for this time of year. So far this has been the coolest July on record in Indianapolis.

Overall a pretty day but it might be a good idea to carry an umbrella with you today. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s by noon and into the upper 70s for highs. A stray shower or storm is possible in the afternoon, but we are only expecting a couple on the radar.

Of course the Indiana State Fair starts Friday and the weather should cooperate.

This weather pattern will last through the start of the weekend. This means lows in the upper 50s and highs near 80 degrees. It also means a mainly dry forecast, with just slight late day rain chances.
