An armed robber got away with nearly $500 from a McDonald's drive-through on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Around 8:30 pm Wednesday, police say a man walked up to window of the restaurant on Pendleton Pike close to Shadeland Avenue.

According to the police report, he had to wedge himself between a customer's car and the drive-through window. Police say he demanded money and when the employee hesitated he reached in and grabbed $480 out of the drawer and walked away.

No arrest has been made at this time.
