Robbery and sexual assault suspect Michael Parrish had his initial hearing Tuesday after being arrested for kidnapping two women and a three-year-old child.

On Friday, authorities released his mug shot. Eyewitness News has learned that several central Indiana police agencies are investigating the possibility of him being involved in other serious violent felonies in the area.

Two women told polcie that Parrish, 37, forced them at gunpoint from the Avon Walmart, sexually assaulted them in front of the child and eventually tied them up at home.

The Hendricks County prosecutor filed charges for rape, kidnapping, robbery and criminal deviate conduct.

Since then, investigators have linked Parrish and two other men to violent crimes in Plainfield and Indianapolis.

The judge set bond for Parrish at $1 million, believed to be the highest ever bond set in Hendricks County.
