Supreme Court rejects C-Murder appeal
The Supreme Court has passed on an appeal filed by rapper C-Murder.
He is serving a life sentence for killing a 16-year-old fan in Louisiana. Louisiana and Oregon are the only two states that allow juries to not be unanimous for certain crimes.
C-Murder's lawyers had asked the Supreme Court to sort out the issue of federal juries being required to reach unanimous verdicts but states are allowed to make different rules.
The court rejected the appeal yesterday.
