Indianapolis - A rally of support was held on Monument Circle Wednesday for the Indianapolis Animal Care and Control director.

In August, Doug Rae was put on probation just seven months after he was hired. Some people are critical of the way he runs the shelter and treats employees.

Rae's supporters say he has already started to turn the shelter around to make it a better place for the animals.
