Sunshine in the forecast
There will be a few showers across central Indiana Tuesday evening. Showers will end by 9 or 10 Tuesday night and skies will start to clear. Watch for a few patches of fog again early Wednesday. Futuretrak 13 is picking up on that chance for some fog.
The bigger story continues to be the cooler than average temperature trend. It will be another cool start on Wednesday, with morning temperatures in the middle 50s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday, with a noon temperature near 70 degrees and highs in the upper 70s.
The average number of 90 degrees days in a year is 18. We haven't had any 90 degree days yet and we don't have any in the 7 day forecast.
Highs will be near 80 degrees on Thursday and Friday. Higher heat returns for the weekend. Forecast highs are in the lower and middle 80s starting Saturday.
We are still tracking the chance for weekend storms. Right now, the best chance for a few storms is on Sunday.
Expect the 80 degree heat to continue into early next week.
