Summer weather pattern settles in

Paul Stauder
The calendar says we are still in spring but believe us folks, we are in a summer weather pattern that will take us well into next week. Warmer weather and scattered thunderstorms will be the norm in many of our forecasts.

Starting today through Thursday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast as highs reach the low to mid 80s.  We're not looking for a washout, but the afternoons and evenings are looking rainy with rumbles of thunder.

We start to dry out Friday, just in time for the weekend as highs remain in the 80s.

Dew points remain high, so the humid air will be sticking around this week too.
