Summer-like conditions continue, unsettled weather returns
After a typical August day with temperatures running near normal, the seasonal conditions will continue into the work week. Here were the high temperatures today.
It will be clear and quiet this evening with patchy fog possible by morning. Temperature will fall into the low 60s. Watch out for the kids at the bus stop tomorrow morning, as many kids will be heading back to school.
Monday will be warm and summer-like with temperatures climb back into the low 80s. A little bit more humidity will arrive too, although it won’t feel oppressive.
A cold front will arrive on Tuesday. The timing is still a bit up in the air but it will bring a chance of scattered showers and storms. Depending on the arrival of the front, temperatures could still climb into the low 80s.
The front could stall to the south and keep a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast on Wednesday.
The Model Guidance for the rest of the week has really been inconsistent. Right now, heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible on Friday. We will continue to tweak the forecast as the data starts handling the storm systems a bit better.
