Summer festival season in full swing in Indianapolis
Friday kicks off a busy weekend in Indianapolis. The weather will be dry and sunny, with highs of around 80 Saturday and 85 Sunday.

Here's a look at what's going on:

Friday night is the WZPL birthday bash - and your chance to see The Voice champ Josh Kaufman. Jason Derulo, Austin Mahone, Little Mix, Karmin & Icona Pop are also performing at the newly renovated Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum. Info here.

The Italian Street Festival at the corner of East and Stevens Sts. takes place Friday and Saturday (June 13-14). The event hosted by the Holy Rosary Catholic Church runs from 5-11pm. You can sample delish Italian food (of course), wine and beer, plus check out live music and amusement rides for the kiddos!

On Saturday at 10:00 am, The Circle City Pride Festival will be held at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis. The festival is celebrating its 25th year and is an all-ages event. Suggested donation of $5 for admission. (Note - they were having some trouble with their website Friday due to high traffic.)

The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange takes place from noon to 8:00 pm at the Harrison Center for the Arts at 1505 N. Delaware St. Over 100 artists and crafters will be on site selling their handmade items. You can also try local craft beer and cider and ice cream, and there will be food trucks, live music, a photo booth and food craft demos. Plus, FREE swag bags to the first 100 patrons to be in line at the Yelp table when the event starts at noon!

If you can't find what you're looking for at the handicraft exchange, head over to the Talbott St. Art Fair. This iconic event runs from 10-6 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday between 20th and 16th Sts. along Talbott St. The street is chock-ablock with art, clothing, jewelry and food. Like the handicraft exchange, this is a nice opportunity to find something unique for yourself or a friend.
