Rather strong wind gusts continue the next several hours in Central Indiana as a rapidly deepening (strengthening) area of low pressure creates a tight pressure gradient.
As a result we're dealing with gradient wind gusts nearing 60mph and the Storm Prediction Center has placed most of the viewing area under a 5% probability for damaging wind gusts.
We've already had numerous wind gusts over 50mph and a Wind Advisory remains in place until 8pm. As the center of the storm departs, wind speeds dramatically drop-off after sunset. With a clearing sky, and lighter wind, temperatures also drop into the 20s by sunrise Wednesday.
