Storms possible with high heat and humidity

Showers and thunderstorms will taper off by early afternoon. Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for Delaware and Randolph counties until 3:30pm this afternoon. Flood Warnings are in effect for Grant, Miami, Wabash, Delaware and Randolph counties through most of the weekend. Be careful of flooded roadways. Don't attempt to drive through flooded roads.

It will be a cloudy, sticky and warm day with temperatures climbing into the mid 80s. Heat indices will climb into the upper 80s today.

More thunderstorms will be possible this evening, bringing heavy downpours to central Indiana. Temperatures will only fall into the low 70s with patchy fog likely Saturday morning.

The unsettled weather pattern will continue on Saturday with a chance of more scattered thunderstorms. It will be a hot and humid day with temperatures soaring into the upper 80s. Heat indices will make it feel like it's in the mid 90s.

It will be partly sunny, hot and steamy Sunday too, with highs near 90 degrees.

The heat and humidity stick around into the work week with more storms arriving mid week. This will bring cooler conditions to Central Indiana.
