Storms down tree limbs, power lines in Mooresville
Strong storms brought reports of downed trees and power outages Sunday afternoon.
Scattered outages were reported around Mooresville after the storms passed through. High winds brought down limbs and power lines in the Morgan County city.
The city's police station went to emergency generators while crews restored power. Police report no injuries and no significant damage to homes in the area.
City crews are now on top of the clean-up effort to remove limbs from streets to get traffic moving again.
Most of the damage was confined to the residential areas off of Main Street.
Parts of east and southeast Indiana are under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. Sunday. Severe thunderstorm warnings have also been issued throughout the day, including one for the storm that blew through Morgan County.
